A camp is only as good as its leadership. The success of a camping & outdoor experience is due in large part to the relationship between the participant and their mentor. Therefore, great emphasis is placed on staff selection. Through careful screening and background checks, our diverse staff is selected for their high moral character, maturity, experience, and camping skills.

Over the years, YMCA Camp Y-Koda has assembled an outstanding group of professionals who have a passion for helping children discover new skills, confidence, and friendships that broaden their perspectives with the outdoors and strengthen their character.
